June 27, 2009.
20 years after the first activation of Conway Reef (3D2CR) I’m happy to announce another DXpedition to that remote and lonely island from Oct. 3rd to Oct. 11th 2009.
7 operators, 160 to 6m, SSB, CW, RTTY. Sri, on 6m NO EME and digital modes.
More info to come soon on our homepage.
Hans, DK9KX ex 3D2CR.
Alex, UY0LL has created a propagation forecast for K4M - Midway using HamCap.
Additionally, the official K4M website will soon be displaying propagation statistics to your area.
Also, catch up on the Special K4M Friedrichsafen Press Release.
After much haggling with the Australian Customs Department and negotiating with a customs clearance broker we have finally received the QSL cards from Czech Republic. Originally I envisaged having all direct QSLing done by the end of June however this is not possible now.
On July 2nd I will be away from home for 2 months on a family caravaning holiday.
Prior to going I am doing as many as is possible and doing daily postings. As such many of you will receive your cards within a few days but there will be also many that will not.
Please be patient and do not flood me with email questions. Everytime I have to answer an email means less QSLing done before departure.
If you are one of the lucky ones that receive your qsl card in the next few days and find missing QSOs be advised it is because they were not in the log.
Regards
Bill Horner
