Reg VE7IG intends being QRV from the following islands below between September 18 to end October.
VE7IG/2 - La Madeleine Island, NA-038
VE7IG/9 - Miscou Island, NA-068
CK7IG/1 - Cape Breton Island, NA-010
VE7IG/VY2 - Prince Edward Island, NA-029
VE7IG/2 currently QRV from NA-038
VE7IG…that’s my dad! Just talked to him on his cell phone (I’m not a Ham!), he’s having lots of fun on NA-038.
Now QRV from NA-068
I terminated the operation at Miscou Island at 5:40 pm local time Saturday afternoon when there was still light to take down the antenna and roll up the radials. The wind had picked up, the seas were very high and heavy rain. Also, as I was in the path of hurricane Kyle, it could only get worse. Almost 1000 QSOs were made over about 26 hours at NA-068.

Just worked CK7IG/1 Reg on 40 CW. He didn’t volunteer his QTH and I was late for dinner.
Bad move. I have spent the past hour trying to find out where he was.
I was quite surprised to find him in VE land. The world is passing me by.
