I was able to work 9L1X while operating solar charged battery powered picnic table portable from a Chicago city park, using 35 watts from an HFPacker amp into a modified MP-1 vertical sitting on top of the picnic table. I was surpised it only took me 15 minutes to get through the pileup! Just luck and timing, I suppose. Thanks and 73 de KG9E!
