5T5DC – Mauritania. March 15 – 30

As one of Germany’s RTTY pioneers I was very glad to work this DX-pedition with their fine crew! I still remember thoses difficulties I had to be qrv from Corsica 40 years ago when it was impossible to ship a 40 kg teletpye machine to this island. F6ALL (Serge),F3PI(Michel),F9RC (Andre) and JA1ACB (Gin,Tokyo)helped me, but with the heavy material it was impossible and a DX-pedition to africa where done by such pioneers as 9JED (G4CTQ, now ET3SID)and others.
