FT5XR (Kerguelen) & FT5WN (Crozet)

Update Jan 13 @ 16z. F6AJA reports that Gil is possibly landing on Kerguelen for 24 hours. See comment below

Crozet

Gildas TU5KG is in the Southern Indian Ocean. He will be sailing around Kerguelen and Crozet sea areas. It’s unknown whether he will be signing TU5KG/MM while there, or if he may be able to land on both islands using the above newly issued calls.

23/25 Jan.08 2 Nights Port Howard Lodge, Port Howard, West Falkland.
25/27 Jan.08 2 Nights Carcass Island.
27/30 Jan.08 3 Nights Bleaker Island.
30Jan to 2Feb.08 3 Nights in STANLEY.
Activity will be SSB only.

9X0R – March 2008

After one year trying to get a license to operate from Rwanda, EA5RM Toni (Team Leader) have traveled to Kigali to get the 9X??R licence, past January 5th 2008. Now, with the license in our hands, we can announce our next DXpedition after S??1R Western Sahara 2006, that will take place in March 2008.The 9X??R Multinational Team will be composed by 10 qualified operators already active from some different countries:
FO/OH1RX – Marquesas Islands
Jan 9th
Guantanamo Bay – end January
Jan 7th

News from OPDX:
Tip, N4SIA/KG4AS, informs OPDX that he and three
other operators will be going to GTMO at the end of January for 2 weeks.
The team will be erecting a new Force 12 and a new windom antenna, plus
make some repairs to other equipment. They plan to be on the air on all
bands. More info and the callsigns are forthcoming.
