HQ8R - Swan Islands 2008 DXpedition

HQ8R Swan Islands 2008 DXpedition is the brainchild of HR2J Javier, he came up with the original idea of activating the islands and has received the support of Radio Club de Honduras and its members in this adventure. The Swan Islands are a chain of three islands located in the Caribbean Sea, approximately 144 nautical miles northeast of port of Castilla off the coastline of Honduras, with a land area of 8 km² the archipelago consists of three islands:
We are planning to depart from port of Castilla Naval station in Trujillo bay on March 15th and return on March 23rd on a 105 foot Honduran Navy vessel.
