E4/OM2DX – Palestine. 14 – 22 Dec, 2007
Nov 21st

After almost one year of hard working with Palestinian authorities a callsign E4/OM2DX was issued. As a country which wasnt activated for almost 8 years and which is on 26th place on the ARRL Most Wanted List we didn’t hesitate and made immidiate steps to active this call as soon as possible. After Slovak hamfest which was held on the third weekend in November the team got complete. We decided to go in group of 4 operators. Mike OM2DX, Steve OM3JW, Rudy OM3PC and Miro OM5RW. All four top CW operators and contestmans with plenty of experiences from the past. The operation is planned on 14.-22.12.2007 and we will be active on all bands from 160m – 10m CW,SSB and RTTY with two stations. QSL manager will be OM3JW. More informations comming soon.
3D2AG/R – Rotuma Update.
Nov 21st
“The 5-el Spiderbeam antenna kindly donated by DF4SA Con has safely reached Rotuma, and is awaiting the start of the operations. Tony 3D2AG will leave for Fiji on Nov. 17, and get everything organized (fuel, batteries, supplies) for scheduled departure by ship from Suva on Dec. 1st 2007. It is expected to reach Rotuma by Dec. 3, weather permitting, and antenna mounting and station setup will begin shortly thereafter. Owing to the busy work-related schedule during the first two weeks (biodiversity survey), Tony will be able to operate full time only from Dec. 15, and until end of January all going well. Logs will be sent to Sam FK8DD and will be posted on this website. Looking forward to have you in the log soon from 3D2/R!”
