Not long worked DL40RRDXA  on 40m. Nice callsign. Bit of a mouthful, though!

Got me thinking - what’s the longest call you’ve worked or heard?

The callsign DQ50PASSAU was issued to us until Dec 31, 2007, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our local radio club (OV Passau within the DARC). The call is also tied to the special DOK 50U11.

I participated for some hours in the last WPX CW contest few weeks ago to offer the DQ-prefix and made several hundred qso’s. Guess you can imagine how many ?? I have got even after the call was spotted the first time … The majority of our club members, however, use that call in SSB or - more often - PSK and RTTY.
