I’m guessing that PR China will build up the reef rather than lose their territorial rights due to rising sea levels.

I think this has been done to some of the Spratly Islands and also by Japan to Okino Torishima.

From the ARRL DXCC definition of an island:

A naturally formed area of land surrounded by water, the surface of which is above water at high tide.

BS7H is not swallowed at high tide but I read that the ops sometimes had wet feet from storm waves crashing on the rocks.

i agree with Maury and second that , BS7H Rocks are excactly similar to Akhziv Islands (Rocks) IOTA AS-100 , No arguements here , just look at the map , So….i think Akhziv Islands (Rocks) should be the Nxt 338 DXCC …huh ?
