On January 16th, 2007, the New York Times reported that a new island had been found in Greenland. ‘Warming Island’ was once thought to be an ice-covered peninsula, but it was exposed as an island when a glacier melted to reveal the strait.

The callsigns 1B1CDE and 1B1AB were recently on air from North Cyprus. It’s not a recognised country by the UN or any other country in the world, except Turkey.

After a long, quiet spell, the Sun has unleashed a C2 flare from an apparent active region on the eastern side.
